EMPTY

EMPTY

A Poem by P.J. Coogan
"

NO EMPATHY NO CONSCIENCE ANOTHER VIEW ON LIFE

"

                             EMPTY

Sometimes I feel like a passenger,

Just coming along for the ride,

Dead eyes and impulsive mind,

Emotionally dead but not logically impaired,

A cold soul with a blank stare,

I see it in the mirror I’m just not there,

Oscar winning life a total lie,

It’s all a game and then we die,

One big joke,

We’re the punch line,

Face it b***h laugh or cry,

We’re the joke then we die,

Call me saint or call me sinner,

Live without conscience you’re always the winner,

Ha Ha breathe it in,

 Suck it,

You’re only here once,

 F**k it.
