Diamonds and Rust

Diamonds and Rust

A Poem by Chloe..Across the Universe

Been gone awhile , no words .. just a beautiful song .. hope someone enjoys this as much as i do .. what a beautiful voice ... crystal emotions .. and don't we all have one ghost from the past that passes through us from time to time?

I can't believe it but do and do because.. I heard this on Sunday morning radio and meant to look it out and listen again .. and here it is, such wonderful words and sung so beautifully. Still shaking my head in disbelief at the surprise of it being here!!! The lyrics are true poetry .. the best of love and all that goes along with it. THANK YOU ..

So good to have you 'home'. Smiling, waving across the miles. :)

where the ghost of the infinite and memory touch, people we've known in life that have moved on are simply standing on the other side of the veil.
this is beautifully written and touching.

I have been sinnging this song for 35 years...didn't know that any youngin' like you knew of this love song of Bobbie, and Joanie.

"As I remember your eyes
Were bluer than robin's eggs
My poetry was lousy you said
Where are you calling from?
A booth in the midwest "

Her poetry was certainly not "lousy"
I think Dylan might have thought it to be too romantic, or mushy.

They both had a rule in changing my view of the world.

Thank you, Chloe
