i wrote this a few months after joining this site.. someone told me poetry need not have a lot of words
this was my first attempt to cut back on a flowing mind.. this was when this site was in its golden days.

Of what you've written thus far, this is one of my favorites. It feels natural - like there's a moment's passion in it . . .(almost like William Carlos Williams' Red Wheelbarrow:so much dependsupona red wheelbarrowglazed with rainwaterbeside the whitechickens. My only suggestion is that you reconsider the last six words . . . I like the word "repose" but the words tranquility, serenity, and peace came across to me as kinda' repeatitive and don't seem to add any additional insight per line as another descriptive word might do (I would offer suggestions, but . . . ) . . . Does that make sense? I have already been out this morning, had the cold dew on my bare feet (chasing my puppy); I can tell that the sun's quickly heating up a sheer blue sky . . . I'm so glad that the ground is no longer frozen in the mornings, but then your little poem made me miss it a little . . . ;) Thanks for sharing.
I felt like a Human, I felt like a beast
outburst of a sentiment
when read this wonderful piece
It almost traveled me to deserts
and frozen ice age realms
outset of diligence, of a world, that disclose my deeds
I felt like a lonely wolf, howling in the darkness
as it surrounds his midnight snarling
I felt like a morning madness,
when mother wakes me from my pristine sleep
What can I say, what else there is
when if few lines, you justify; my solitude
But then again your verse, awakens, my needs and my beliefs
I sing this lilt, for you, my darling stranger
As you proclaim my poetic tint
You walk alone, I do the same
But somewhere in between, we meet to sing
I walk alone, you do the same
Into a dream, you lead, I follow
Takes me to my favourite surf break,,early morn ,,takin off the uggs to feel the crunch underfoot ,,then thers the peace n tranquilty of surfing in solitude while the serenity breathing brings while I walk back aftersurf fresh repose..lol.....Another one I really liked,,short sweet n to the point,,,,,,bit like me apart from the short bit....

I think bundled is spelt like that Chloe, but your poem is a delicate walk through life alone, which actually feels quite nice....sometimes in solitude we find ourselves not so bad after all? love the ending, life is the breathing of it in. Smiling at you, wishing you a great weekend, Tai
I LOVE IT in all its simplicity!!........I feel calm after reading this!!.....am gonna quote what i love
Frosty 'morn
dawn's violet hues
bundeled in wool
fleece covered feet
crunch frozen earth
I walk
solitude
repose
tranquility
serenity
peace
breathe
This is going to my faves :-)........it actually took me out of my hectic routine when reading it......so i will be reading it alot.....to bring me back to 'peace'........and i just realised.......u always sign out with Peace....and here u do it justice!! :-)
Thats a nice imagary .............peaceful. Sometimes getting away from it all and being alone helps us to breath for ourselves..............and being alone can be calming.I loved the imagary.
Sometimes i feel like an alien in a strange land..can you relate?
I love people and friends are just that to me , friends-if you request me as a friend it would be nice if you read something I have .. more..
