Of what you've written thus far, this is one of my favorites. It feels natural - like there's a moment's passion in it . . .(almost like William Carlos Williams' Red Wheelbarrow:so much dependsupona red wheelbarrowglazed with rainwaterbeside the whitechickens. My only suggestion is that you reconsider the last six words . . . I like the word "repose" but the words tranquility, serenity, and peace came across to me as kinda' repeatitive and don't seem to add any additional insight per line as another descriptive word might do (I would offer suggestions, but . . . ) . . . Does that make sense? I have already been out this morning, had the cold dew on my bare feet (chasing my puppy); I can tell that the sun's quickly heating up a sheer blue sky . . . I'm so glad that the ground is no longer frozen in the mornings, but then your little poem made me miss it a little . . . ;) Thanks for sharing.
This is nice. Yea I enjoy solitude myself. Usually I like to sit by myself throw in some nirvana or system of a down or something...sometimes bands a lot harder than that and write. Solitude can be a blessing.

Now how could you feel so alone with all those atoms bouncing around you?? :) Just a weird thought to put in your head the next time you feel alone and its so quiet you can hear a pin drop... Think about all the atoms bouncing and swirling around you, hell, IN you as well... We're never really truly alone... Damn even when we're alone with just our thoughts..., it can get pretty loud, huh :)
Ok i'll stop babbling... Short and sweet peaceful poem :)
beautiful!
this reminds me of a scene from pride and predjudice, but instead i can imagine myself walking through the crunchy grass
nicely done
