Would you dream a dream with me
Close your eyes - and we are
Dancing together beneath silver stars
The music slow , sweet and dreamy
Our bodies fit like black gloves
On a movie starlet
We sing our own song
The music is inside us now
Beautiful , like your eyes
Your lips drip honey
Like a bee I have to taste
Sweeter than chocolate truffles
Lips collide drinking in the flavor
Passion flares
Kiss me soft like black velvet
Kiss me hard , violet violence
Hold me close
Kiss me again and again
Dance me to the cosmic constellations
We will catch a ride on a comet's tail
As we dream this dream together
Would that this dream last forever

i get so tired of those critical people on this site who like to say, we just pat each other on the back..a mutual admiration society...instead of really critiquing poems.

because my feeling is this..

when a poem is written like this...and moves the hell out of me with its phrasing...why can't i just "love it"!????


because this is one of my favorites i have read in awhile...

i caught the "ride on a comet's tail"

and enjoyed every word.
