I really like the ending and normally I never start with a poems ending but this is an exception. So many times people see us so differently than we see ourselves and do we like how they see us, do we agree with it, but most of all do we accept it? LOL I just read your authors notes sorry it made me chuckle! When we make a connection with someone doesn't it feel like we are in sync with them our hearts beat as one, we see the world in a different light or phase and it is all so surreal to us. I think your poem is capturing that by asking the question "If". It's been awhile since someone kissed me like that and I could see in their eyes and feel it from their soul that they were that much into me. This poem makes me sigh and that makes it awesome. Quick quack of a write that it is LOL.
