Vincent may I say how beautiful you are
Even though they called you 'ugly'

and how you suffered .. maybe like me, you
were melancholy, a dreamer who's dreams were
never fulfilled .. no one would listened when you told
them the wonders of the Lord
Vincent, I know how you felt in ways...just small ways.. still
Vincent you sparked and sparkled
through your paintings
No one cared to buy one until you died
But as this song for you says,
"This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you"
Now you shine on
Now your mind is clear

Just wanted to share this song and these paintings ... take a breath and relax.
I know not everyone has the same taste in art / music if this does not appeal to you ..
I think you are missing out on a few things...

I live in the UK and once went to a Don McClean show, he had people silent, silent as he sang this, then, at the end of the performance he sang American Pie and had everyone on their feet .. mainly Brits but .. that was/is his magic.

Your poem about Van Gogh gives that artist so much respect, his early work flowied but was near constrained, his later work gradually become increasingly more and more the man's poor mind turning into a darker madding mist.

There are numerous books about his life, will try to find the author of the best biog' , can't think of it this moment.

Oh, I didn't watch the video but I'm assuming that it's Don McClean's Starry Starry Night. I always loved Don and all his music including this song. I got a standing ovation at karaoke one night after performing American Pie without ever looking at the screen. I had the crowd into it! lol
