I Wrote a Poem For You

My lack of writing has forced me to write this - have a barf -- bag on hand!

I wrote a poem for you
really I did but the dog
ate it
every last word
and said, ' Yum, yum'

I wrote a poem for you
honestly I did but I spilled
my drink on it, it soaked it up
every last word -blurred vision

I wrote a poem for you
this is the truth
but the wind blew it away
the tattered page tumbling through the air

I wrote a poem for you
of this I tell no lie
but I dropped my f*g on it
burned to ashes - garish- gray

I wrote no poem for you
I told a little tale
I hope this doesn't send me to hell

Oh well

Does anyone hear bells?

Just too harried and hurried to write what's in my heart, on my mind
so I wrote this drivel

I think this came out better than you expected it to. It held me in and I wondered throughout the entire poem if I should believe weather you did or didn't write the poem for whoever? It also brought about a smile from me. I enjoyed it as well.

i thought i was.... special. then at the end i find out it's all untrue. i'm heartbroken. now and forever. nah just kidding i like it though. sometimes when you can't write the best thing to do is write and see what comes out.
