Thanks for writing this, I actually cried the day that he died when I got in my car and Summer Breeze was the first song that came on. I love your last line because of the reference and because it's in present tense when the rest is not. The best artists are immortal through their work.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh I love this piece and I have been a huge fan of Type O Negative since I was 12 years old. I am still in shock over his loss. He converted back to his Roman Catholic faith. God took him home.

He certainly had a very unique voice, it was brutting and mysterious, the black velvet reference is perfect... and his songs certainly expressed the dark side we all feel... a wonderful tribute to a great musician and songwriter... RIP Mr Steele
