Questions

Questions

A Poem by Chloe..Across the Universe
"

just popped into my head out late one night looking at the sky

"

 Hello -

Hello

You have questions

Yes, I have questions -

What are your questions

Who  am I -

You don't remember

No -

How long since you forgot who you are

Not since I was born into this world -

You've forgotten,
think

I can't remember -

But you can,
think

I remember somewhat -

I knew you could if you tried and you will continue to know
as long as you keep thinking

Why am I here?
suffering is hard
it breaks the soul bends the spirit
puts you in a place you don't want to be -

Does it
It is a lesson you must learn

Always I have heard this, I don't understand the reasoning.. it seems almost cruel in a sense, strife, heartache , heartbreak, tears suffering.. death,
Why? -

This is all life is to you 'You seem to have forgotten some things some things still not remembered ..love, laughter, people, moon, stars, sky, children, animals , family, friends, heart, soul, spirit
you have it all yet you question your exsistence,  you question life

Life is not always the way we want it

No -

You know you are the master of your destiny you are the one who makes your life what it is or isn't
do you understand ?

Yes, I understand -

And is it what you want it to be

No -

You know what you must do

Yes, I know

But why all the suffering throughout mankind? -

For everything, there is an opposite this is how it has to be, love, hate, joy, sorrow, wealth, poverty, birth, death
do you understand these are life's lessons we all must learn yet
these things do not last forever
nothing is forever except love do you understand?

We have to go through hardships, trials, and tribulations to attain happiness
these things though hard will not always be, nothing is forever except love
we are the masters of our fate
we choose what path our lives will take -

I think you understand now

Do you know who you are?

Yes, I remember well who I am
thank you -

You're welcome

Who are you? -

Who do you think I am

Examine your soul for holes

it is like an internal conversation back and forth,,,,we often have the answers within ourselves but they can get buried by all the business of life. that is why writing is so therapeutic, we often find the answers that were lying within, all along. good job..... And it takes a lifetime of self discovery to find out who we are, and a willingness to take risks, no matter what age.

You know you are the master of your destiny you are the one who makes your life what it is or -----Hello Chloe, longn time didn't see you here. a pity! I so much enjoyed this piece.. and this was my favorite line:

"You know you are the master of your destiny you are the one who makes your life what it is or"---this is so precious. great story. I loved this, too:

"We have to go through hardships, trials, and tribulations to attain happiness
These things though hard will not always be, nothing is forever except love
We are the masters of our fate
we choose what path our lives will take" ----yes it is so. but often we take a path for we didn't know? nobody taught us? when then? still - I am to blame, I know.

Loved this writing.

Very striking questions we all ask and answer ourselves. Why hurt, hmm? The flow is a little choppy in some areas with the question asking, but I don't know how I would be able to go about that either! Beautifully written.

This is a powerful piece and It holds so much truth inside. We hold on to what is going on in our live and forget the hows and why of where we find ourselves Overwhelmed and feeling lost even to self. Great piece and inspiring as always.

i like the conversational style. the thoughtful, but abstract thinking. it reminded me a bit of The Prophet by Kahlil Gilbran. nice stream of consciousness writing.
