He was , or rather is a very eccentric guy. A little odd but not too, you know .
Last Valentine's Day he said he was giving me his heart. I thought it was romantic and
felt we had reached a plateau in our relationship. What did I know?
His name was/is Howard. He is a mulit-millionaire. I met him at the Internet Cafe on Rawlings Street in January of 2006. It had been just a few weeks over a year that we spent our first Valentines Day together. I was very excited about this day.. he was giving me his heart but he had a business trip
and would not be home for a month so our celebration was delayed. Of course abscence makes the heart grow fonder . I could not wait till he returned. I had bought the sexiest lingeries in all colors and
new sheets. candles, the perfect music. I was ready. As I said, he was and is a bit odd and a little eccentric. I liked this about him. He was and is not your every day guy. Just a little different.
The day he was to return I was a bundle of nerves. Almost to the point of nasuea. About nine he called and said his driver had just picked him up from the airport and he would be there shortly to give me his heart. He told me how he had missed me and how very much he loved me . I was giddy with excitement. I jumped into a tub of scented bubbles, got out and applied new make up , did my hair the way he liked it , in dog-ears, he sometimes liked for me to call him 'Daddy'. I didn't mind .. well not too much. I put on the black negligee and waited on pins and needles.
I heard his voice as he was coming from the elevator. 'That will be all, Niles'. What a beautiful voice he has. My palms were sweating and my heart was pounding , here he was to give me his heart! He would probably propose. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world at that moment.
He walked in asked me to help him to a chair. He looked pale and had lost wieght. The trip must have been stressful and so hard on him I was thinking. ' I am here to give you my heart, my love'.
I said I was so happy he was home and how I had missed him. He opened a suitcase and took out a
very ornate looking jar. Inside was what looked like a human heart. ' Here it is, it is all yours'.
"What is this'? 'My heart', he replied. He told me how he had paid one of the best surgeons in the world to remove his heart and put a pig heart in it's place so he could give me his heart! 'Whaa'?
At that point I fainted.
We stayed together a year. We did get married and I still have his heart, though she has him.
His heart is mine forever though. Ha ha .. she did not get all of him. And I hope she can take the
grunting oinky sounds he makes here and there.
