Now that I have your attention. You might as well read on.

In a U.S. Senate subcommittee the leader proclaimed “We were from the lower middle class. We had nothing!”  As far as I know we only had 3 classes. Lower, middle and upper. So now, it seems, these have been slit again and now I guess we have 9 classes. You may now call someone in the “upper lower” class. Or you may be from the “middle, middle” group. And if you’re lucky you know someone in the “lower, upper” gang.

Today we think of the middle class as being from about $45,000 to $125,000. So if you were “in the lower middle” you have say 45 to $75,000. I bet the homeless would like to have this much “nothing”

We progress into confusion.
