At The End

At The End

I take pen in hand. Err a “keyboard at the desktop” Err a “Keyboard in lap” Anyhow I have something to write with and its somewhere close so I can write this craziness. You are doomed to read it or just doomed.

Anyhow I have been thinking. So without pain I put the thoughts to words. At 68 years of age I have been thinking about after. You know after the big “D” word. I arrived at 3 options that I and / or others will undergo. We can’t do much about them even if we wanted to.

To wit: After my death:

  1. The first choice is that which we all grew up with. Current Religion and all its beliefs. But which one? Catholic? Jewish? Muslim? Buddhism? Among others these are the majors and should be followed. But which one? I guess that depends on where you were born and how you were raised. But was this all correct. Some folks believe, REALLY believe that I should ware special underwear or wave a chicken over my head. But again which is truly correct? Only the gods (er   a) God knows for sure.

  2. Our limitless universe is really no bigger that the head off a pin. All our “Laws of nature” are just current opinions for this now and this place. Ants live and work with each other and communicate well. What size is their universe? Do they understand how far superior Humans are? And do they know what our “Rules” are? Do they care? The next time you catch a bug, explain to it the speed of light. We are in nothing but a one big (to us) zoo.

  3. Or in the words of a very great author (Well an author) “After my death there will be a good long rest are no further activates planned.”

That’s it. The end. So you chose and act appropriately.
