I don’t know how it works in your part of the world. But according to all the TV commercials here … I’m supposed to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on a new car or truck. Then I should take it out and beat the hell out of it and be happy. This will be the thousands I don’t have. And that’s ok. It will be the thousands I don’t have but can borrow and pay interest on. Then I can pass this wonderful debt along to my kids. But I should still be happy about it all.
