Of the day, week, month

I though today. Then I got a headache. When I was well I thought again. And I thought---- there is no place here to post random thoughts. (that I have found) So I thought I’d make one. It won’t be a “thought of the day” thing. Mostly because on some days I don’t think.

When I have a quick thought I’ll come here and post it. Your job is to commit or post your own thinking efforts. A lot of my junk will be about T.V..  I’m 67 and watch too much of it. And I’m from the West Coast of the U.S. so please forgive me now for any mistakes I may make in the future.

If you wish to think and post it here. Just do it. But don’t hurt yourself. Have a good time. And tell your friends.

My first though is about Major League Baseball. I think it’s slowly going the way of buggy whips. If it’s going to remain around it needs to change. I think it should be FULL CONTACT BASEBALL.

The baselines should no longer be straight. They should have a loop in them and need to be run with sound effects like The Three Stooges.

Runners no longer need to be tagged. They need to be tackled.

The bases should be wire box affairs full of Rattle Snakes.

Fire all the umpires. They don’t make the close calls anyhow. They say their talking to New York. How do we know? I bet their talking to some fat guy sitting in a trailer in Lower Brule, SD. He needs a shave, drinks too much whiskey and dresses only when he goes outside. “Their OUT” he says into the phone. Then sloshes some more booze into a glass.

Instead of a “7th inning stretch” we need a good “7th inning shootout” between the pitcher and a batter.

Have 7 or 8 outfielders but make them all run on their knees.

You get the picture now. Lets spice the game up a bit and save it.
