Dream Ness

Dream Ness

A Story by Patrick JL
"

An a obscene attempt to attract female readers…

Early in the morning it became noticed that she was not ready to rise.  I listened to her quiet for a very long time. The morning breeze also played a lite Mozart to me and she remained still.

Her breathing was unvarying. If she was playing around a dream it must have been quiet and soothing. She was not yet aware I was there. Then later, without any prompting from me, she drifted from her slumber and greeted today.

I wanted to ask her about her dream but I thought it best to fashion my own.

I did.  It is this morning.  It is this now.
