Seen my share of wildflowers and thistle down on the wind and those tumbling tumbleweeds rushing across the open highway of the interstate. Mostly out in the desert in and around the Sonoran. Saw the moon out there big as a saucer in the sky...I could count the craters...terrifying and beautiful at the same time. I watched the sun sink behind me in my rearview as I was headed east for home and it looked like darkness was chasing me down the road at the evening shadows fell. You paint a lovely scene with your words.

It is most likely true that the Thistle seeds from Russia multiplied as stated. We live in a World where Phenomenons occur. Thistles are Gorgeous in my Mind and can be Romantic. Thank you for seeing the extraordinary Beauty in a World of Uncertainty. May the New Year 2025 bring Enlightenment even when Shadows appear,,, my Friend. softly, Pat
'The greatest Secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places... '
How true is that, dear Pat! Seems so much is hidden these days, as if 'emotion' is a dirty rather than an honest, beautiful word.. thought. Is that or that feelings cling onto their roots, afraid to grow and blossom unless cut down and trampled.
Seems you see the sweetness of feelings shown, emotions allowed to grow into something, anything but the hidden for whatever reason
YOU truly have the best all-seeing vision because you look for and find the best, most beautiful. Hugs to and for your darling..
A right pretty blanket toward the horizon! A true beauty to behold 🙏🏻🌹🌼🌷🌸🌺🌻

It’s amazing how introduced plant species become invasive weeds be it the thistle, lantana, sour sobs ( an oxalis species) and Salvation Jane to name a few. But when you add lovers to the mix maybe everyone is with nature in a wild way. A lovely write Pat.

Our world is an abundance of "space invaders." This is what makes our world so diverse and colorful. It brings us joy, beauty, and the sounds of delight, as do your lovely poems, Patricia.
Hope you and your loved ones have a Happy New Year.
