A Winter Wood thrush prepares for SnowA Poem by Patricia WedelDeep in the Woods where green moss is Soft... I ventured with my friend Woody with Wings... He taught me to discover the Hollow Trees where the warmth of the Sun provided Solar Heat and pine needles lay like sprinkled Feathers... We gathered seed from Summers Wheat and Apples from the Orchard... Now an Umbrella of Balsom needles encircled our Hideaway... Santa and his Sleigh would soon fly by and drop Presents below as Blessings and adoration flow when Wise Men follow the Star to a Manger in Bethlehem as there was no Room at the Inn... The Shepherds watched their Sheep and Angels Sang Hallelujah... Goodwill to Men as the Story unfolds the Cattle are Mooing and Jesus is Peaceful as Joseph and Mary keep Vigil until the Morning Light... Amen... tenderly, Pat
