Oh, is it that time of year again?
Now why am I thinking of a long, cold walk home to what will be a candy free home, with only the possibility of a cup of hot cider to warm my cockles, whatever they are!
Perfectly capturing autumn in all its finery, tangoing into that great unmentionable of ghouls, goblins and spider's webs! 😃

With Autumn being my favorite time of year, this finely descriptive poem is a delight. A little out of season at this reading, I fondly recall the time of cobwebs and spiders weaving melancholy dreams. Is there any of that cider left?
You have so masterfully captured Autumn in this lovely poetic gem, dearest Pat. You paint very beautiful pictures for your reader to enjoy. An amazing poem filled with warmth and all of the colours of Autumn. A truly amazing write from your poetic pen, dearest Pat. Gratitude with brightest blessings your way for sharing...
I love the days of October. I can take the children to Blakes haunted park and enjoy the days of Auburn. I loved how you described the world around you. Thank you dear Pat for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

it is absolutely beautiful. this ode to autumn interwines happy memories, expectations of the year to come, and the magical force that binds past and present: 'Angels on Wings bring Beethoven Symphonies in the Breeze... ' my favourite line. i know it's a bit late, but i hope you spend the rest of the season with loved ones 'Birds of a Feather' and live life to the fullest, or 'become Witches and Goblins.'

A most beautiful seasonal poem that could easily be a song. Very nicely done.

An Autumn Song played on a Piano like falling Leaves has been composed and is "Timeless". It would be lovely to compose a Song with Lyrics... perhaps similar to "A Nightingale sang in Berkley Square". That would be quite a Storm among the Autumn leaves. when Lovers harmonize. Thank you for your "Heart print".. gently, Pat
Life is like a River that includes the sound of Warblers among the trees laden with happiness and tears... Wings take us to places we discover and people who write the Music we love to hear... quietly.. more..
