in formation of Artistic combinations where Colors blend as Stars explode to 

Celebrate our Country being a Place of Grace where Citizens can  Pray...  

A Country where Supreme Court Justices can Interpret our Law... Amen

dearest Em... your words have touched my Heart. We have had so much Hot weather and only last night we had quite a thunder storm with lightening for an hour or so... It is an Omen of how the Heavens can Save us from Evil itself. I love your expression "Seize the Day". Our Crepe Myrtle trees are in Bloom in July. Religion should never, for any reason, be included in the governmental social contract. We learned this as a species multiple times over the past 8 thousand years... attaching the power of government to religion (or vice versa) always and every time leads to massive cruelty and extreme warfare spanning generations. It is a moral sin to presume that everyone can agree on what moral sin is.

I know nothing much other than what is obvious to me about US politics or legislation but I do know that I have just been present whilst the citizens of and visitors to Miami this most recent of July 4th took place and was most impressed by the number of fireworks and patriotism displayed .. I was also shocked by the vast numbers of non English speaking locals I encountered ..

our forefathers fought for Independence and created a form of governing that celebrates life ... the Supreme Court sent a case back to lower courts for good reason ... (in my opinion) the charges were not clear ... i think the dissenting opinion was a good example of divisive, inflammatory dooms day rhetoric not worthy of a Supreme Court Justice .. but hey .. this is America .. the land of the free .. immunity for our leaders is necessary for them to do their jobs without worry of prosecution ... our Courts make it clear that it's application is narrow .. and directly linked to an officer doing the job or not .. i love the 4th celebration .... we kicked butt against the most powerful military force in the world at that time .. a bunch of rag tag soldiers and volunteers .. God has blessed America .. great poem Ms.Pat! ;)
