Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming is a Christmas Song. 

With Mary we behold it.... the Virgin Mother kind... 

The Wise Men followed the Star from afar while 

Shepherds watched their Sheep,,, 

It came upon a Midnight clear 

The Lord Jesus slept in a Manger ...  

Peace on Earth...  

Good Will to Men 

Holy Night...

this has a nice ring to it but then, it is almost Christmas & whilst I tend not to celebrate as a rule because of the different path I follow I do enjoy seeing others celebrate & maybe this year I will do my best to join in for the sake of my little granddaughter .. Dear Pat, your beautiful poem gifted me a wonderful nativity scene. I was reminded of all the times the children in our family participated in their school Christmas plays. So delightful and filled with song and happy little faces. We had angels and shepherds in our family:) I love the Christmas season and the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

I also have a pink rose in bloom in my garden despite the cold weather. Now that is a gift.
