Legacy of Planting Peonies in Autumn

Grandmothers and Peonies seem to belong where 

Love is shared with Petals soft and fragrant... 

Nostalgia at weddings where a Kiss seals the 

promises made to Love and Obey with 

breathless moments as we pray for Harmony... 

Planted in Earth in fallen golden leaves that 

become an Omen for Trust and tender 

Bouquets in the Spring when Babies sleep 

and are nourished by a Mother until the 

Moment of Arrival and a Cry of Survival... 

Hope is born and the sound of a Band of Angels 

is heard among the Peonies in Grandmothers'  

Spring Gardens... in hues of yellow, red, coral, 

pink, purple and white as they turn to the Light...
