Fiddles and Fox Trots

Fiddles and Fox Trots

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Autumn Leaves with golden embers become an enchanted overture of Mozart's Art in Flames...

"
Beneath the boughs of Rhapsodies where colors become

the sound of French Horns as the warmth of love is

the Persuasion of destiny...

The Red Fox escapes into the Forest where Lovers dwell

and the sound of the Base Fiddle becomes a Riddle...

"The Red Fox escapes into the Forest where Lovers dwell"

Such an enchanting poem to read. Such wonders lie in the deep, imaginative forest of your beautiful mind, dear Patricia. When I read you, I'm transported to a heaven on earth.

Much appreciation, admiration and love....

Colorfully creative. Flowingly fresh

Like a whimsical breeze waking from the soft slumber of heavy intoxication due to a creative slip from reality.

With love,

I am listening to Beethoven's 9th as I write this. I think the "Ode to Joy" would fit in the Forest where Lovers dwell just as well as anything of Mozart's.

I can see the red foxtail silently disappearing into the brush as its owner returns to the den. I saw a fox climb a tree once. The fox was the same size as a large housecat and it ran across the road in front of me and right up a tree. I was, to say the least, surprised. I had to go look up, "gray fox that climbs trees" on Google. It turns out that the Gray Fox is the only known canine that can climb trees. At least I wasn't seeing things. I enjoyed the read.
