Good morning Pat,
The zillions little birds that grace our very large gardens, woke me up along with the roosters this morning...And, the birds are still going strong as I sit here in our office/art room to work on our computer.
We have so many beautiful flowers blooming.. Just planted 27 lavender plants last week...well, not me..the gardener...oh yes and we planted a lime tree..We now have 5 orange trees and various types, 2 avocado trees and an amazing old lemon tree... Almost forgot a that we also have two fig trees a dark one and a light one..Plus of course the new lime tree...
I am in paradise....
I love these special lines of yours...
Butterflies are drawn to Violets in the early morning dew...
Woodpeckers are knocking on trees as the breeze sings

I remember eating fresh Figs from a tree about thirty years ago.. so delicious. This Spring I have been eating a lot of Naval 🍊 Oranges and Roger eats a lot of 🍋 Lemons. Most Citrous fruit may come from Florida. Aging brings a Lust for Fruits.. even Mangoes. My mind dreams of Tangoes… sensual thoughts never die… they just become more frisky. Yesterday Roger’s niece Jennifer and her two grown children Olivia and Ryan spent Sunday with us… we visited Chatham Gardens with flowers and Garden Statues and a lovely Mansion from the 1800’s. It was a Perfect warm sunny day. There was a small Vineyard with gorgeous Grapes maturing on many Vines. We had dinner at Cracker Barrel. The young people are so fresh and Beautiful and somehow Roger and myself were comfortable like Wisteria trees in the Wind with a Fragrance of yesterday. Your Review has started my day with Sunshine at almost Seven am in Fredericksburg, Virginia by the Rappahannock River. softly, with ❤️ love, Pat

Another explosion of colour from your pen Pat, brightening our Monday mornings, eager to see if our view is similar this bright and beautiful morn... It is by the way.
Those pesky clouds tried to spoil the beginning of morning, but have evaporated into a bright sun filled morning, with temperatures rising, with added hints of optimism and hope. 😊

I hear those woodpeckers around her a lot...such a cool drilling...and the more blue the better.
Beautiful snippet of nature here.

When the world seems tilted on its axis and everything is shifted sideways, your words set everything aright. The burst of colors in your words is such a reflection of your beautiful soul. You shine bright for the world to see. I love the picture that you chose to go with the poem. So lovely!

Dear Pat, a delightful write. Ribbons of lavender and blue. Speaks to me of summer. Blue skies and walking the seams of lavender growing in farm fields heavily scented and buzzing with bees. You bring in those majestic of creatures, the swans on a calm lake who pair for life. Violet and lavender, my favourite shades of all that is tinged with purple. There is so much to enjoy in these fragrant lines. Have a wonderful Sunday dear friend.
