Indigo Buntings in brilliant blue feathers

Indigo Buntings in brilliant blue feathers

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

As I wander on a Summer morning I hear the wind sing along...

"
Curtains of Sunlight in ribbons of lavender and blue

bring thoughts of awakening to a new adventure...

Wild flowers dance over Meadows where Cowslips grew...

I can imagine the Swans on the Lake preening their feathers...

Butterflies are drawn to Violets in the early morning dew...

Woodpeckers  are knocking on trees as the breeze sings

a Gospel song sweet and low... I will follow you

wherever you may go... over Valley's and Hills

Til Heaven becomes a Stream of Lullabies...

Good morning Pat,
The zillions little birds that grace our very large gardens, woke me up along with the roosters this morning...And, the birds are still going strong as I sit here in our office/art room to work on our computer.
We have so many beautiful flowers blooming.. Just planted 27 lavender plants last week...well, not me..the gardener...oh yes and we planted a lime tree..We now have 5 orange trees and various types, 2 avocado trees and an amazing old lemon tree... Almost forgot a that we also have two fig trees a dark one and a light one..Plus of course the new lime tree...
I am in paradise....
I love these special lines of yours...

a Gospel song sweet and low... I will follow you

Sometimes the wind actually does sing..along with the birds, it's a virtual symphony... Love your imaginations of the swans preening....and all the wildflowers at their very best, dancing over meadows...this is a lullaby of nature indeed....
