Tanagers are Keepers of colored eggs in Nests of downy feathers

Tanagers are Keepers of colored eggs in Nests of downy feathers

A Poem by Patricia Wedel

When Poets gather by the Rappahannock River

the beautiful Tanagers are planning their Concerto

for Easter morning as the Choir sings,    "He is Risen"...

Butterflies Sip the Nectar from Black Eyed Susans sacred Heart

on Easter Morning.   tenderly, Pat

With Easter being a sign of renewal, we hear their concerto with optimism of our future tomorrows and pray they won't be as frosty as what has come before. Please don't be as frosty as what has come before. I don't think I could take another winter of discontent like that last one. I almost wrote another winter of incompetence there, which almost became incontinence at the thought of it. 😊

Dear Pat, this little poem is delightful. Filled with beautiful images of the natural world. You gave me a field of Black Eyed Susan’s and I heard the choir singing too. Sending love to you.

All of nature sings of the resurrection. This poem is such a celebration of faith. Words beyond beautiful, their essence to be preserved in spirit always.

dear Folks... soon it will be Easter morning... and we will be mourning for all we have lost....
especially children due to drug dealers on the Border with Fatal drugs laced with fatality. A mad man in charge of our Country with followers who want to Destroy all we have fought for to save our Country from Tyranny. This Easter, we should pause to consider that we can make a difference with a Vote for Freedom. May your Spirit for our Country be renewed, as time is of essence. tenderly, Pat
