White-breasted blue-grey Nuthatches Autumn Festival

White-breasted blue-grey Nuthatches Autumn Festival

A Poem by Patricia Wedel

In an old Apple tree  where blossoms appear every Spring...
a pair of Nuthatches raise their Brood in the Autumn.
.

They dance and sing until the Sun goes down...

Sunflower seeds are their favorite food...

Their Song is from a Poem by Edgar Allen Poe...

Quote the Raven Nevermore...

In Honor of the dark and mysterious...

I am quite partial to Ravens too & of course the dark side with which they are so oft juxtaposed .. sending a seasonal hug and a tickle on the tum with a tawny owl's velvet primary ... Neville
