Beautiful imagery here Pat. We are having warm and sunny autumn days and the colours are rich. Your poem is delightful. We sat in the sun having a drink outside the marina bar yesterday. All is well. Your poem gives me that feeling too, of continuity. Sending love across the waves.

I took Piano lessons in grade school to where I could play some sheet music.. and I love Violin music. My granddaughter Madeline has taken some Piano lessons and also played the Base Fiddle for a while she also studied the Base Clarinet as did her older brother Ethan. Maddie is now a sophomore in high school and she plays Girls Softball … Not sure I can learn the Violin, however Maddie may play a bit and I may take some Violin lessons. Older people have been known to learn Musical 🎶 Instruments… but first the Holidays. Hugs, Pat
This is so nicely done, I don't know what to say!!!
Since you have written such a lovely piece, I wonder if you could go one step further and also write a note of congratulation to yourself, from me, emphasizing to yourself, how very much I enjoyed your effort.
I wait in soft anticipation.

We don't have seasons so much where I live but we did where I use to live and I certainly miss them. Autumn was always one of my favorites and your poem brings it right back to me. I could feel the crisp air and smell the cinnamon and pine....thank you for sharing this.

Today is so overcast and bleak here Pat, with it not even 6pm and already turning dark, that it feels like the tune autumn is playing, is the funeral march of the marionettes (theme from Alfred Hitchcock presents.) 😊
Still, at least it's put me in the mood for a holiday to warmer climes. 😊

Violins are a dreamy sort of voice and the song of nature in every Season is a gift for us to enjoy. Thanks Patricia!
