White-breasted NuthatchesA Poem by Patricia Wedel
Easy breezy grasses are my favorite place to rest as
my friends the Nuthatches chirp symphonies of Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Barthold of the early Romantic period... far from the maddening crowd... The Butterflies love to fly about with wings tattooed with flowers... The Goldfinches are resting on Sunflowers waiting for the Seeds to be ripe... Blue Indigo Buntings love to be surrounded with Wild flowers... The Great Horned Owl and I have become friends. He loves for me to read out loud the Romantic Poetry of Jacob Erin-Cilberto while the Whippoorwill sings in Berkley Square....
