Indigo Buntings and SunflowersA Poem by Patricia WedelSummer symphonies among the flowers...
On an overcast day where Crepe Myrtle pray...
Sunflowers reach for Clouds that float in an Ocean of Blue... The Breeze becomes the Song of Autumn leaves falling like feathers when fledglings fly to Sycamore trees... Feeders are full of Sunflower seed where Indigo Buntings preen their feathers and complain about the Weather... After the Rain drops cover the Roses with Kisses of sweet perfume... the Boughs of Nests cradle the Buntings in Melodious waves of Summertime Blues... © 2022 Patricia WedelFeatured Review
