Lovely and I just love a cowboy! I saw one in Montana on his horse, on a steep mountain with his herd of steer. There he was on a horse in the rain and it was a beautiful sight in bright colors, I wanted to sketch it but it was getting late and ya don’t want to be in those winding mountains at night. Wonderful little poem, touching.

beautiful love poem for your man, Pat! it's quite touching and moves me ... glimpsing your love for your "Cowboy" ... after all our wild wanderings .. it does a heart good to be corralled doesn't it!? May the Creator bless you two! ... nicely written .. short and very sentimental :)

A love poem for your very own cowboy Pat. How tender and loving these words are. And the posted image is beautiful. Tell me more about the picture. I love it. Sending warm wishes across the pond.

Google images had the perfect Cowboys with lassoes that would have been perfect... however everything now has a Copyright and you must pay top dollar for Art.... and then you need to know the way to transfer the Image to your poem. For a couple years it was so freely available... bit nearly ever now. There are times I can use a personal photo on my "Smart Apple I-phone. Eventually I will discover how to access "Etsy" images, and so forth... if I live that long.
The photo I used may be one of my daughter's friends. At least she is riding a Horse-- which I have done a few times before I was 40 yrs old. Of course now, I might "break a bone". I may have looked a bit like the girl riding the pony or horse. Of course now I
show my age with a "twinkle" in my eye. They say we may have our first frost tonight Nov 4, 2021. Hope our wee flowers will not be lost. You are so generous with your reviews and also a delight.... across the pond. tenderly, Pat
Ahh Pat...
Your delightful words brought back to me, the misery and pain, nay... Disgust, at finding out it's called a lasso (rhymes with Oh!) instead of a lassoo (rhymes with Ooh!)
MY childhood died that day 😊
Ps... Never fear though, I got over it, eventually 😊

I envy you and your cowboy, who has caught your dreams in his lasso, now go off toward the sunset as the birdsongs bid you goodbye with melodies heard on your love journey.
Beautiful write Pat

I met Roger at "Bronco Billy's Country Western Dance Club and Bar in 1987. We are still "line dancing" after all these years... one step at a time. We danced to songs like-- "You walked across my heart like it was Texas... you taught me how to say... 'I just don't care'". Spurs are made for Lovers. Yes, we love Rodeos. Love your review. We also danced to "Seven Spanish Angels" sung by Willie Nelson and Ray Charles. Very poignant Song. May your Thanksgiving be Peaceful and nourishing. tenderly, Pat
