Sycamore Trees Sigh

Sycamore Trees Sigh

A Poem by Patricia Wedel

Autumn Apples falling all around on warm sunny ground...

the humming and sounds of buzzing Bumble Bees

Breezes blow through colored Leaves speckled with

Candy Corn kisses given under the boughs of trees...

Two Sisters with their Moms eyes and Dads Smile

pose under a Sycamore Tree where History is hidden

for all to Believe and feel the Ambience of Freedom...

A Poem posted from their father's Mother Patricia...

Amen...

Hi Patricia, I love the images that your gentle words paint on the canvas of the mind. One can see so easily your descriptions and one can hear the sycamores whisper on the breath of a sigh, seeing the grandchildren under the tree. Everything comes so clear as one does read down your wonderful lines. Family is all. A lovely moment captured in time. Have a wonderful Friday. Hugs always....Mike.

I'm reminded of a strong cider scent of an apple orchard on a scenic drive before San Jose while heading to the bay area. I once stopped by the side of the road to walk along the apple trees. Your beautiful poem so reminds me of that day. Thank you Pat for sharing this lovely poem with us.
