Hi Patricia, I love the images that your gentle words paint on the canvas of the mind. One can see so easily your descriptions and one can hear the sycamores whisper on the breath of a sigh, seeing the grandchildren under the tree. Everything comes so clear as one does read down your wonderful lines. Family is all. A lovely moment captured in time. Have a wonderful Friday. Hugs always....Mike.

Is there anything better than the sound of the wind talking with the trees? I really enjoyed this. Nostalgia and nature, a real one, two, punch.

Ah, what sweeter apples of the eye are there than grandchildren? Even those bees must be jealous of that sort of sweetness. Delightful poem. I enjoyed.

These small children which are held by my daughter Edie Marie are my Son Robert's two children. The photo at the Top is My son Robert and his wife Leilani. My daughter Edie's husband and their two children are not in the photo. I need to transfer more photos from my Apple phone to my Apple Pro Lap Top Computer. The "Geeks" at Best Buy usually transfer
the latest photos for me... but I try not to enter Stores often 'cuz of the Pandemic.
Yes, our children and their children are all "the Apple of our Eye". truly, Pat
So, these must be your grandchildren; and a dear part of your family that you are sharing with us; a painting of them with looks of mom and dad; sitting under a sycamore tree, where history is hidden ( all the family heritage) you bring us close in to your family relationships that you so treasure.
A lovely poem in a lovely season.
Warm regards,
B.

Aging is more busy than working full-time. I had another picture in mind... but this one is what was available. My daughter Edie Marie is holding my Son Robert's two daughters. Above is a photo of my Son Robert and his wife Leilani. My daughter has a son Ethan age 18 and a daughter age 14 (not in the photo). I was not able to transfer the photo where they were under a Sycamore tree... but my poem remained as written.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are well and blessed. tenderly, Pat
Sycamore trees are magical, they sigh and whicper scerets to anyone who stands under them and listens... and they remember the giggles of two sisters who played under them, had their picture taken (did you notice how it stood taller just before the camera snap???).... there was a row of Sycamore trees that lined our street where I lived as a boy, you could hear ot laugh as you rested your head on it to count for the game of hide and seek.... fun days those.....
very much enjoyed your poem Pat...

I love how you bring us this photo in painted words, as well as in a family collage. I know how much you love to share your photos, which I enjoy very much. You are one of the few photo sharers who goes into detail to explain every photo you share. I wish others would do the same instead of posting mystery photos! Love how loving your explanations always are, showing how much these relationships mean to you. Your poem is full of sparkling descriptive delights. There are many sycamores down along the creek below my bluff (water-seeking trees) and I'm looking out over the treetops of these sycamores (((HUGS)))
