Becuz your title "Rose of Sharon" brings to mind the old Steinbeck classic "Grapes of Wrath" . . . where Rose of Sharon loses her infant, but feeds a starving man with her breast milk at the end . . . for me, your poem takes on tones of how, in a balanced world, we would all happily nourish each other. Your poetry nourishes those who are steeped in hard times, possibly not able to imagine a bluebird or a meadow lark's song. So your poetry is like the breast milk of Rose of Sharon, feeding those who are living lives of quiet desperation, perhaps. We can never know, but in lots of ways, we do know (((HUGS)))

I have been distracted with medical appointments... but handled now for time being. I always love your reviews. Yes, my poem is melancholy becuz Life is not easy in the "times" we live. It does help to dwell on Spiritual Songs about the Rose of Sharon. It is important to "nourish" each other... our brothers and sisters by Heart. tenderly, Pat
Lovely ... a touch of Heather in the sweet bye and bye. The poem filled me with peace.

We will have Wild flowers also. Somehow Apples are falling like Apple seeds and we will need to cultivate many venues for people to learn that we re a Country of Enterprise, and everyone will need to Work to survive-- that nothing is Free. Our Country has always taught people to work and not expect anything for free. The Cream will come to the Top.

I agree. I was taught the same. Hard work bring good things to you. And it did. Hello dear Pat.
There are no words to describe this poem…it is heavenly, loved the use of Solomon and glory and it just made me so soothed and calm….you are definitely a bird expert, wish I knew the names and songs of birds as you do…flowers grow in everlasting love….wish they would love in the winter too… but they need their rest just as we do…. Thanks you dear Pat for your loving and caring poetry…..
Warm regards
B.

Our family attended many Camp Meetings every Summer where used Army tents were set up on discarded Wooden Construction floors. We were provided with electricity in our Tents on the large Campus of a Religious Academy in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.... in the Fifties. In the Summertime there wold be very large Tents for sining Gospel Songs.
You could "feel" the Holy Spirit... as well as the Spirit of each other. Our Spirit is the Best part of our Life on Earth. Thanks for you warm review and be blessed. gently, Pat
Life is like a River that includes the sound of Warblers among the trees laden with happiness and tears... Wings take us to places we discover and people who write the Music we love to hear... quietly.. more..
