Marquerite a gorgeous Hummer

July Fourth fireworks in colours bright spray the Sky ...

On the Western side of our Country in California 

there lives a quaint feathery Lady who sprays and 

bathes with the Mountain Hummers... 

She grows Artichokes and skinny dips them 

into a seductive dressing... 

Styled like a Wild Mountain Cat ... 

She prefers her Dogs who growl at the Moon... 

Wishing our Barley Girl Margie a Beautiful 

Fourth of July Birthday when she first 

made an appearance as the Sky burst into 

a Star Spangled Banner of the 

Land of the Free and the Brave...

Cruising the cafe, I happened upon this poem again & it's even more delightful this time around. The last time I read this, I was not active at the cafe, so it felt like I was sneaking around in the darkened hallways to come read this. Now I'm reading it with a different perspective & I feel super honored that you would've shared this, back then, when I was turning 65.
