"Just let your love flow like a mountain stream
And let your love grow with the smallest of dreams
And let your love show and you'll know what I mean
It's the season
Let your love fly like a bird on a wing
And let your love bind you to all living things
And let your love shine and you'll know what I mean
That's the reason" Bellamy Brothers
This was very beautiful and visual. We had a field of lady slipper orchids behind the house where I was raised. They grew under the cover of filtered light in an overgrown orchard. I love the mountain laurels, especially when they bloom in June and July. This painted a beautiful picture in my mind. I enjoyed, F.

Williams who was a "roadie" for Neil Diamond. It was recorded in 1975 by The Bellamy Brothers and hit Billboard's #1 spot on the pop charts in 1976. I thought I had listed correct attribution. Bless.

I have also been a Fan of Neil Diamond and appreciate that he wrote the Lyric. I have to still “catch up” on so much to this day because My Father was a Religious fanatic and we only listened and sang Religious Songs, so I was very confused for years. However, I have learned a lot through my years. I adore Neil Diamond’s recent song “Pretty Amazing Grace”. His best Song in my opinion. gently, Pat

your poetry makes love a river that runs in a beautiful version down a mountain.
too often love just tumbles downhill on very dry land (feelings)
when the flow is stopped up by flotsam....
Your poetry could make curmudgeons smile.

Dearest Pat, your words flow like a mountain stream, vivid imagery to show how loves flows as well... bringing in the fauna and flora as you always do to make it read so beautifully. I love mourning doves, especially under the crescent moon...so soothing and calming...
Hope this finds you well,
Yours truly,
B.

As ever always, your words refer to your surroundings: floral and musical. There's so much calm and pleasure in everything you see, feel and hear, Pat. Thank you, dear lady, for sharing with your friends.
Wishing you and Roger a kind and beautiful week ahead. Hugs. xx

Dear Pat. Your poem took me to Switzerland where I once saw glaciers melting in the spring sunshine. I saw diamonds dancing in crystal waters and meadows choked with wild flowers of every colour. It was a piece of heaven. Glaciers are like frozen hearts. They need to melt. I have written about Venus myself and seen her in the early morning sky. Love from across the pond on a beautiful morning.

Romance is always playing melodies of sensual
movements in Streams of Sensibility... where
Mourning Doves coo and woo their lovers.

Life is like a River that includes the sound of Warblers among the trees laden with happiness and tears... Wings take us to places we discover and people who write the Music we love to hear... quietly.. more..
