Spring Firecracker

Beautiful clusters of flowers...

Pollinator perks with rose-colored petals. 

with tinges of orange...  

A  gem of a Bunting flies by with 

shades of turquoise and orange... 

Lazuli Buntings are native to 

the Santa Monica Mountains... 

It takes a week for the females to weave 

their nests with spider webs and silk from 

caterpillars... the scientific name is Passerina amoena  

meaning "beautiful Sparrow"...

Hi Chris... we have had phase one and phase two of the Moderna Vaccine... but still careful to wear Masks and social distancing. We have a Wild Rose Bush that has matured in three years... a soft pink that rambles... like the Song.. “Rambling Rose”.
