Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder. Wisteria by far is the Harbinger of Spring. Your review is like a butterfly that returns to sip the nectar of love. truly, Pat
Perfectly capturing the essence of haiku Pat. But then again, would have been surprised if your words were anything but perfect no matter the chosen format.
Wonderful example of why I love short form poetry so much, when it clicks and I manage to do it propellorly 😊

I am humbled by your kind review... it seems that flowers are very “healing” during this Pandemic and I was touched by an Angel when I penned this poem... so I give the Credit to the Angel. Dear Pat how lovely you look in lavender and purple hues. A delightful pic of my over the pond friend. Wisteria is a gorgeous shrub. Our neighbour over the road who was a good friend of mine and who sadly died almost 15 years ago planted one in her front garden. It climbs the redbrick and is a constant reminder of a strong friendship all these years later. Strong roots will always spread soft petals into receptive hearts. She still spreads those soft petals as you do dear Pat.

When my son and daughter were toddlers and in grade school, we lived in a Country home where Wisteria grew all over the Chicken Coop and beyond. Needless to say we had the most scented Coop ever. I believe that certain plants could be toxic to pets and people if eaten... so we have to watch children very carefully around a number of plants. However, Wisteria is Gorgeous and the scent is very Romantic. With best wishes and be safe and well. Gently, Pat
