dear Folks... the simple things of life are
now paramount to survival. Somehow the
World will come together to nourish the
Children and teach them to survive.
We pray and visualize people helping people.
Wisdom is contagious. gently, Pat
This is a delicious poem about spring and the renewal of life that springs forth from the ground bringing with it the wild life that uses the plants as nourishment.
This is delightful bright and cheery with warmth and color for description and the I can almost hear the birds singing
A wonderful poem shared dear Pat. I am glad the days of Spring are here. Hello from Michigan and thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

it helps to survive the Virus. We are fortunate to have our Vaccine with phase two for me on April 17.
Our weather goes from very warm to chilly every few days, I appreciate your review. My neighbor had gorgeous Tall Sunflowers in our previous home. They were Amazing. With best wishes for Sunny days by the Lake with your Grands. Warmly, Pat
If only more human beings had the height and strength as Sunflowers have and could teach Earth's population how to treat those vunerable. A great man said, long, long ago, 'Suffer the little children to come unto me... ' These days politics, borders, money and Evil ignore those words , because they have neither true humanity nor shame
Your words are lovely and all but, their theme is more than pretty, dear Pat. Take care, keep safe. Luv.

We need to build Orphanages where money is well invested so promises can be a Shelter ... Perhaps via your church, the Red Cross or/and the equivalent you could help to set up a petition, Pat? Plus, there are organisations involved in helping with and donating to such action. I see this Idea from a perspective of our Government spending our Tax money more as an Investment for the present Shelters and expenses for the thousands of Immigrants pouring into our Country.
The present Administration could do so much to protect these Innocent children and young people Now and in the future, as far as Shelters and schools
with excellent Caretakers and a School in the permanent Shelters. I may make an Appointment with our Congress Representatives, and perhaps one of our States' two Senator to plant Seeds of this Idea.
However, I have no desire to be in Politics and to receive a paycheck for doing so. W are retired and have "good Ideas". The Red Cross does their duties well. Our calling to a Church is by Prayer and we help people on our own between ourself and God.
Thanks for your encouragement and advice. Sometimes good Ideas need to be considered.

However, you don't have to be in politics to follow UNICEF of EXPAT in the superb work they do. Via church or even buying Christmas cards etc. you can share your obviously genuine concern about children. Plus, they would and will, in turn, guide you into more specific directions, not only in your country but globally. Forgive me following up your interest and concern, dear lady, but these days support is needed even more. In the small village I live now and my previous area, we've donated to both over the years, especially the former which I'm sure you know. Hugs and smiles from across the Pond!!!
You have touched my heart Pat. Children should always be sequestered in sunshine and sunflower smiles. Your beauty and compassion shines my dear friend. :) Julie

Sunflowers, of all the worldly blossoms, are most impressive the way they fan their big bold heads from one horizon to the other, scanning the light-fest thru-out the day. I've never grown them . . . too windy here & I'm too lazy to stake up flowers. I have enuf work to do, staking tomatoes, squash & cukes! (I will do the work of staking something that I can eat, eventually, but not something that provides only beauty!) We have doves here . . . which we call pigeons . . . & they are spectacular, with bold black & white markings, as they swoop against the dark evergreen of live oaks (which do not lose their leaves & provide this lush background year-round). See how your poem puts me to flights of fancy? Truth be told, I had to stop writing that damn book becuz the outdoors were beckoning now that we've finally gotten into some springlike weather (altho still 30's by morn! brrr!) I'm a warm-weather baby & I need it to be 90* by day & 65* by night, then I'll stop whining (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I certainly will purchase your Book and read it with ‘heart and soul’. My Mother was married once and when I was eighteen (18) years old my Father had a total Nervous Breakdown from studying Religion(s) for Years. My Mother was a Strong emotional person. After my Father had an “affair” with a young woman who he was giving Bible Studies... he got a Divorce and that left my Mother alone fir years. I was instrumental in introducing her to “Woody” a wonderful ‘older’ Southern Gentleman. They were so in love and when my Mother passed three years later from Cancer... Woody was holding one of her hands and I was holding the other. So I can understand “why” you were inspired to write ✍️ your 📚 Book. You and I are “Birds of a Feather”... Be at Peace and enjoy the Bounty of your Mountain Top.

Thank you for making my day & feathering my heart with your mom's story! (((HUGS))) There have been a number of such stories that "come out of the woodwork" as people have been reading my book! But yours is told with the utmost of loving admiration for your mom's situation!
I saw a photograph of a young boy, no older than nine who had been abandoned at the border. In tears, bewildered and terrified. I know many children are being left this way and I am so fearful for what will happen to them. There are so many evil people who will take advantage of their vulnerability. The picture made me cry and stayed on my mind for two days, and now it returns again. Such contrast in the beauty of nature in your first lines dear Pat to the image still troubling me. A better solution is sorely needed. Open borders to me are senseless. There has to be a controlled solution. All good wishes winging their way to you.

The Children are the first Priority and we must find a way to protect them. This situation has escalated to a point of needing Orphanes to be built with Adult Caretakers to live therein and supervise the Welfare of all the Orphans. Paying Millions of dollars to keep them in Hotels, etc. is a waste of Money that could be used to build Orphanes that would include a School for all ages of Minors. This should be our Prsyer for their Welfare. I also cannot be truly Calm until the Balm of Human kindness and Intelligence is Restored. Thank you Chris for your Concern and Prayers. Pat
