Red Bud Trees in Spring

Red Bud Trees in Spring

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Appearing naturally in Wooded Byways...

"
The Art of Red Bud trees is scattered among the Forest Glen

where newly born Foxes are adorned with auburn shades of Red...

The tenderness of the Moss below the trees is embedded in the

beauty of Spring where new life is bursting with

songs of feathered friends heard throughout the Glen

where young spotted Fawns lie in the green moss...

We pause to pray for healing where Nature smiles...

I love your opening line. Who would have ever thought it?
I love spring too. My backyard always looks it's best this time of year. It makes one want to sit back and daydream all day long, as a cool springtime breeze blows past your cheek.
Have a wonderful day.
What a day for a daydream, is it not?

Nature gives us reason to smile…. And your imagery shows the magnificence of the Glen where birdsong abounds and new life begins….
You’re a pro Pat…. This is so mellow and stunning…. Yours, B.

Such a masterpiece of colour thoughts swept across the screen, Pat! Your life is so full of glorious colour and I that is so very precious these days. Tis a multitude of green budding time, plua,. can't help it but call this time of year the Yellow Set. Why? Because the outdoors is a theatre of primroses, daffodils, forsythia. etc.. it's as if the world was smiling! Take care, dear lady, distant hugs to you both.. xx

Spring is the queen of all seasons and feeling tender and romantic is a part of it... But you painted it like a dream. You really are a true nature lover... I can even feel nature with your poems...

Capturing the beauty of spring is a talent. Celebrating it is a gratitude. Enjoying it is a luxury. Kudos. Happy Spring...

Wow! So poetic. You are welcome Pat.
Spring time is magic from first bloom budded to the last bloom falls. It takes my breath every year, just like your rendition of it.

I don't think I ever read a poem about a tree that I didn't like. This poem was short but better than most I remember, including my own. Wonderfully penned. tyfs

The opening line reads as if a rose unveils it's petals. I love the newly born Foxes reference and the combination of green spring energy and the symbolism in the power of red, passion, regrowth. Such beautiful imagery. I feel as if I am in the Forest Glen, listening, healing. Thank you, Pat!

Another splendid nature outing; with the colors of spring aptly displayed; and the newborn chicks, and baby fawns enjoying this Glenn, smother themselves in soft grass and moss.Nature takes care of us, but in many different ways. Pat, you really have a knack for your imagery and soft words.
Best, Betty

I am loving that posted image of togetherness in front of a roaring fire. That is stupendous. I love the warmth which I can feel from the pair of you and the flames on this side of the pond. Your poem is pretty special too. All the greens, reds and auburns. Birdies, foxes and fawns. Spring is such a glorious time of year, the start of so much promise. Let us hope that this year, things will be better than last. You know when I was a little one, I loved that Disney film Bambi, and this poem took me back there. I was in the glen with my very own Bambi, with his liquid brown eyes. Take good care dear Pat of you and yours. Love from across the pond.
