"Leaving the misunderstandings in the snow-driven shadows."

Prayers can be powerful. A Prayer can be answered in ways that may be a Mystery...

A gorgeous poem, a wonderful quote and a beloved season arriving with many new promises for lovers, poets and all people. May your garden bloom with all beautiful things and be visited by many birdies to behold.

I really wish it would get here, Pat. I know you live in Virginia as I do, and I am sitting here before a blazing fire trying to get my feet warm. Come hither, spring!

At least Spring will bring a sense of healing. If it were any worse, it would be fatal. Every State needs Poets now more than ever... to soothe our feathers.
Thank you for sharing. I am deep into spring-mania already, since we've been up to 70* & 80* for the past few weeks, no rain tho . . . a sad 10" total in the past year. This is a great description that generates excitement & emotion, just thru imagery. That's the crux of poetry, in my estimation. I have sunny windowsills full of romaine & other loose-leaf lettuces, about 5 or 6 ready to pick, full & luscious & green, no bird pecking! I never intended to grow winter lettuce indoors, I was only starting plants to move into the garden later. But these grew up so fast in this concentrated hot sunlight, I'm suddenly wondering why I never thought about growing lettuce indoors before? One whole side of my cabin, which is all windows, is fully sunlit! Thanks again for sharing your obvious infection from spring frenzy (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I loved reading about your Romaine lettuce... you do have a green thumb... it must be beautiful. One summer we grew lettuce in our backyard. You must eat it quickly while it is tender and sweet. The side of your Cabin with mostly Windows would be your own Green House. When I worked in D.C. and would be between Assignments..
I would visit the Washington Cathedral and walk up to the top floor and look out the Windows at the Gargoyles on the outside ledge. The Cathedral had a large Greenhouse with scented Geraniums you could purchase... in scents of Roses, and Licorice, and other scents.... just to enjoy the beauty of the Geranium flower Petals and the scent also. Nature is amazing. Even wild violets are lovely. hugs, Pat
this is spectacular. A perfect drscriptions of why spring is my favorite season

Some years ago, I learned that the Snow in Winter “ensures” that there will be enough moisture in the ground to produce a flowering Spring of great Beauty... so I always think of Snow that way. Thank you for your kind review. It has been Spring weather for a few days and suddenly last night it became extremely cold without the Sun, and quite a Wind in the tall Pine trees around our two-story home by the Rappahannock River. Such is Life. gently, Pat
