Monastery Bells

As I wandered the Hills of Old Mexico  

I heard the beautiful Chapel Bells ...    

as a soft breeze rippled along the water's edge  

where Tchaikovsky composed Swan Lake... 

The Ballerina flowers were in an Arabesque..

As I wandered the hills of Old Mexico with you, I paused to admire the view. What a view that was. There's something about chapel bells ringing that adds to the ambience. I had a spring in my step too and my mind wandered to Wordsworth and our Lake District where I danced with daffodils. Beautifully visual and uplifting dear Pat. Thank you for that joy.

Chris dear... a tear spent .. as Monastery Bell flowers dance.. the romance of a Garden. Chatham Heights a Civil War “Retreat” where we live in Fredericksburg, Virginia, has Similar Bell Flowers, along with Peonies and Rose gardens... and a Gold Fish Pond with a Fountain.... high on a Hill. I also love Wordsworth... tenderly, Pat

Dear Pat you always bring gifts. History as well as flowers. Peonies and roses make a beautiful bouquet. I have peonies in my garden. Huge blooms, too heavy sometimes for their stems, a delicate pale pink. They were inherited in our garden forty years ago. How well they have served us.

It is amazing how the fragile peonies can endure through the years. I must plant some where we now live for three years. The ground is not very fertile... the blueberries and grape vines have not matured one bit since planted. All the electrical wires are underground in our Circle of Homes. We will try raised Beds for our Bulbs of Tulips and Hyacinth and daffodils. One Wild Rose bush has flourished along a fence. gently, Pat
