There's a certain amount of verve & spunk that can be gleaned from the sensation of "having butterflies" . . . if you're not a little "on edge" with whatever is in front of one, maybe it's time to push a little beyond one's comfort zone!?!?! As for flying in formation . . . I beg to disagree. I've been regimented far too long & I look enviously on at those whose butterflies & ducks & magpies are in a tittering dither (((HUGS))) I love your first 2 lines, even tho I disagree about flying in formation! dearest Margie... it is Friday already... I appreciate your review. My first 2 lines were first spoken by a young woman who was Press Secretary to George Bush, Jr. She grew up in Wyoming on a Cattle Farm
with many areas to roam. I believe it broadened her horizons and she eventually became a brilliant Correspondent. Her name is Dana Perino. I admire her so much. Her stat

Hi Margie.. I was cut off.. above. Dana's statement about Butterflies is really a symbolism. I am fascinated by the use of words; and you, Margie, are quite clever in so many of your essays on life. I wrote this little poem... in honor of a poet friend who loves butterflies. She and I had a misunderstanding that migrated out of control,.. when it was "private" and went viral. Enough said.
Only prayer and meditation can lay this to rest.
These things can be a blessing somehow... if you make it positive. I always admire your talent, and you are gifted. truly, Pat

Hi John... we just had Snow and Ice... enough that you could slip and fall. Roger my hubby fell down in our yard and his shoulder hurts, and probably affects his arthritis... so be careful. We feed the Birds.

dearest Sami... you are the “Hope” in Pandora’s Box... I love that you referred to me as a Butterfly... I will dwell on that... perhaps to sip Nectar and share the healing powers. It seems that there is more to Life than we can ever imagine. To be humble is to realize that there is always a better way to handle situations... and unfortunately I failed; however, I do trust my instincts and will endeavor to use better judgement. We learn by our failures. Now there are butterflies and butterflies. There are those fragile flutter bys who couldn't possibly fly in formation, but give us so much joy and have something so spiritual about them as they hover in our gardens. And then there are the tummy butterflies which tell us we are apprehensive and nervous. I know them both. This little poem has so much to offer. I heard the musical score and it was delightful Pat. ".....be certain they fly in formation" now there is a challenge if i ever read one! ;) one should have butterflies when going on stage .. without them we probably won't deliver with much feeling or emphasis .. just a drab recitation of a score too simple for the show ... of course i am drawn as the moth to your closing line ... i like the brevity in this one .. and whats not to like about butterflies ... good luck getting them to march to any tune tho :)))))))))))))))))))0

I am trying to elevate my mind in general, and yet be poetic. Butterflies 🦋 remind me of a very talented Poet.. and also I believe they are great pollinators, as well as Bees.
