A Swashbuckling Pirate of the Sea

The scent of Roses and bygone days...

When I was marooned on an Island in the South Pacific 

I was rescued by an Adventurer who had a Rose tattoo... 

He took me to Ports where Drums played Moonlight Blues. 

I was completely swept away by the waves of wayward winds... 

Somehow when I woke... I realized it was a Dream with the 

scent of Roses embedded in my heart and soul...

I wish I knew how to thank you, Jacob, in Hungarian,
like Zsa Zsa Gabor would... and my Father was Hungarian and never taught me as a child to speak Hungarian... it would have been so easy. Later in life I worked in two different positions where I would have been more valuable if I spoke Hungarian. One was as a Patent Secretary (where a Client visited from Hungary several times, and the other was the President of a Holding Company and I was his secretary. Lovely to hear from you, Andrew... Yes, Errol Flynn was the perfect Pirate... one of our favorites was "Captain Blood" with Olivia de Havilland. It took place in England in the 1600's. He was convicted of Treason and sold into slavery in the Caribbean colony of Port Royal, Jamaica. There is much to be said of Romance

You are as divine as this torrential rain that finally came this morning after almost a year of the driest drought I've ever known here. We were at 1.5" of rain in the past year, just a few days ago . . . after a 12-hour drencher, now we are at almost 5" for the year. This is not a good way to get rain after all the fires, with debris washing down in floods, but I'll take water any way we can get it, at this point. I was becoming afraid my well would dry up, come summer! YEAAAAAAAAA!!!! RAIN!!!!!!
