Red-breasted Nuthatcher LamentA Poem by Patricia WedelWarmth of Rose-colored Clouds...Living in a Forest of Fir and Pine I find Solace in the morning Sun... as it streaks through the boughs of a new day. I often pray for my feathered friends. who live in Cities where the Bustle of life is far too busy... I wish they would join me for a Holiday. We would find plenty of pine cone seeds and sweet nectar to drink... wink... wink. (dedicated to our Poet Margie... snug in the Hills of forbidden Comfort). Amen © 2021 Patricia WedelFeatured Review
