While I don't mean to say that we don't need the upcoming medications that are being developed, I read your poem as a suggestion that we find our cures primarily in nature. This could be the obvious route, which is making teas or tinctures from natural sources, but your poem seems to harken more to the idea of living as nature lives, in order to reap the harmonies that are so abundant in nature. A steady way of life spending time around harmonious flora & fawna changes the way we react to the inevitable ups & downs of life. I was picturing this scene as I read it -- great imagery & motion & fluidity of word sounds (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The hummingbirds and butterflies are pollinators... it is up to us to sip the cures provided in the herbs and honeycombs that we have been documenting for years. And then there are also cures like "copper-infused back braces" which CVS Pharmacy has for twenty dollars. I have one and it really helps. Nature does provide many cures. Bless you and keep
you comfy and safe. with love and admiration...
love your gift of word play. Pat x

I just love that the plants are so smart, without brains, knowing they need to make themselves obvious so they can get pollinated. Things in nature make such sense, I'm just suggesting that trying to live like nature lives might help us humans be more in harmony!

Everyone seems obsessed with the pandemic these days. I find it so boring. I'm nonplussed by by the whole affair. I've had several family members come down with it and recover from it. And all this talk of shortages, etcetera...and the funniest is the supposed "coin shortage" because I think every American probably has a jar or a piggy bank full of coins at home. I don't mind staying home or wearing an N-95 mask in public. I have several boxes of them on the shelf and I've always believed in washing hands. But I'm comfy hibernating until the storm passes. Because, like all else, this too shall pass.

Dear Ms. Pat,
Somewhere in those beautiful, exotic blooms and those dense wild forests and thickets lies the cure for every malady that strikes us humans today. When God sent scourges, he was gracious enough to send the antidotes for them. If only we look for them with patience, dilligence and love, Let's preserve this bounty for our future generations to come...These are just some of the thoughts inspired by the surreal beauty of your poetry here...

I'm waiting for your botanical book to come out so the world can rejoice and all can love Mother nature and how wondrous God made it. All its creatures play and important role. You, as a poetess, is bringing all their benefits to the forefront using this wonderful art form. Science can be boring but not when you do it like you do.

How beautiful is the stargazer lily dear Pat and butterflies I am particularly fond of. All part of mother nature's blessings. We need the natural environment more than ever as we struggle to breathe within the clamping confines of this awful virus. I maje a point of spending time in my garden every day. When life hurts, that's where I go into my garden and talk to the flowers. Take good care dear Pat.
Fondest to you.
