Butterflies and Summer's EndA Poem by Patricia WedelButterflies travel far as if they came from a Star whereupon flowers were only seen when the Heavens planted Marigolds on Mars and Venus grew Cosmic orange Cosmos... A black winged butterfly with bright blue spots sipped nectar from the Blue Bells in their sunny Bed of Buttercups... Now the leaves are feeling the cool wind as butterflies follow their guiding Star to warmer climes where flowers in pretty gowns are calling for the tender sips of butterflies and honey bees to reminesce of the good 'old days.
