A Place to Rest on Reckless Waves

A Place to Rest on Reckless Waves

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Tucked in the corners of your kiss...

"
The Sweet Harbor of your heart where

passions embark upon a voyage to

Islands where pineapples grow and

mangoes smile with succulent tenderness

of wind and sky as storm clouds gather

where romance dances in tango moments...

I am forever embedded in your smile and

soft understanding eyes that reflect the

raindrops from Angel's tears where love

can mingle and kisses toss and turn

on every adventure under the Sun...

Your writing here resembles the tumbling turning ever-changing feel of the sea with waves rolling in & light changing constantly. Strong analogy for the way life can be topsy-turvy in a good way . . . it can be liberating to stop analyzing where something is going & just follow where life leads & feel it & enjoy it. That's what your rolling stream of imagery says to me. Loosen those white knuckles & plunge into the roller coaster ride of life (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Your lines dear Pat tell me how incredibly fortunate you are with your other half. I would also imagine him to feel the same. Your poetic expression is always superb. Reading you is always like being gifted the cherry on top of the icing. I am more than grateful for that.
