Dear Pat I think I will forever remember the shadow cast by your angel's wing. What a lovely thought for dark days, and there are many for people throughout our world who find themselves with a positive covid result. Scary times but contrasted so well dear poet with your hollyhocks, forget me nots and butterflies. I note this is written for your dear Roger. I am sure he knows what a lucky guy he is.

All the elements of nature like lavender , eagle are used too perfectly and of course! the hope factor , faith, hard work everything falls very smoothly in this poem with a gr8 message and wonderful imagery!
a lovely tribute...softly sighing with nature's sounds and visions to expose a heart so much in love with another.

What a beautiful loving heart you have Patricia! That is what will get us thru this all and much much more:) I always say the true measurement of a life well spent is how many hearts we have touched when our spin ends and not how much money or power we had. The only way I could cast my eyes upon the divine without shame is to have a full measurement of that:)

A beautiful dedication; I love your flowing words of nature that intertwine and know the we will all eventually get through hard times, as long as the birds keep chirping and the butterflies keep dancing. There is still hope and you write about it so well. Peace, Betty

Pat, your poetry transports us to the era of the romantics. We're so grateful you can deliver poems like this one with your genuine art, humility and sincerity. Your poem also speaks to the faith we must have not only in God but each other, trusting that bond will not only bloom but endure during the most challenging seasons of life. A lovely tribute to your Roger, and your marriage.

I hope everything went well for Roger on Friday & onwards. It seems especially threatening to have a throat/lung issue during a time when covid could strike & make everything so much worse. Your poem presents the positive-filled loveliness of nature that cannot be denied. To me, such natural positivity serves as a bulwark against the extreme worry one could slip into at a time like this! You are so smart to write this with a focus on how much there is to live for! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The doctor said that he definitely does not have cancer. Now we can concentrate in his breathing by using a special Inhaler. We are thankful for Innovative tests and ways to cope with breathing problems. Roger also takes dialysis three days a week for over three years now. We eat healthy and get exercise and fresh air. It is difficult to avoid the CoronaVirus; however we are all in this together and it is important to wear Masks to protect others and ourself. We are fortunate to have a comfortable and safe place to call “Home”... it is a blessing.
Thank you for caring and prayers. We also pray for you. gently with 💕 love, Pat
