Oh yes, being out in the fresh air and breathing in the goodness is a wonderful feeling...especially when birds are singing Frank Sinatra tunes in the background! :) I liked the play on words...."berried" as opposed to "buried"....very clever. Another poem filled with nature's beauty, Pat. I liked it. Lydi**

Walking and breathing fresh air has kept many of us healthy during this unusual time of surviving. To hear the Burds singing and seeing the flowers bloom is reason for Hope of healing ... believing that we will also be whole in Spirit and able to mingle with friends at gatherings. truly, Pat
So much cleverness! I love the play on words in the title. I love the Sinatra reference, with the swooning romantic aura it lends to your twittering upon birds with lively personification. Nobody brings the birds alive like you do. I might have told you this, but not too long ago I read the book "One for the Blackbird & One for the Crow" -- referring to the way a farmer must plant enuf for the birds becuz there's no way you can scare them all away. This year, I finally gave up defending my original strawberry patch, giving it over to the birds & happy they haven't noticed my new strawberry patch, which has much bigger berries anyway! Let them have those measly things from old plants that could probably stand to be pulled. It's a win-win solution! Love your berry fest zapping with zippy delight (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Nothing like fresh mountain air ( I live in it!!) I love your vivid images of Warblers crooning out Frank Sinatra tunes and other birds doing what comes naturally. And mountain streams affording a bird bath or even a drink or two. A hiker's dream for sure. Thanks for sharing Pat, just lovely!

I try to keep myself active with morning 5 o' clock jogs these days. I think that is one of the times when nature is at its purest. Even though I wear a mask, I can still feel the freshness of the air and hear the chirping birdies!
I love how you detail the beauty of nature in your poems! Much love!
Also, love the pun on "buried treasure" in the title!

The song of nature. Those birds could be singing some Frankie Valli songs. Thank you dear Pat for sharing the wonderful poetry.

Picture perfect of haziness made to suit nature's and music lovers especially of the legend Frank Sinatra. Nothing like seeing those sights listening to romance music in the background. Keep your great poems coming...
